Guys, the YSL Beauty Flash Sale is back. They have multiple offers on the site, but I took advantage of the 40% of some of their Beauty Bye’s.

I went to a YSL beauty event at The Grove and was educated by the incredible artist, Daniel Heningman @henigmanart and Dell Ashley, @dellashleymakeup and got me hooked on how flawless their products are. I tend to stay with what’s familiar, but love learning about products and techniques other artists . YSL cosmetics are just so luminous and luxurious, even if you choose a matte, your skin looks well cared for and hydrated. And y’all know how much I love skincare - a makeup that compliments my skin and doesn’t hide it? Worth every penny.

He introduced me to their Top Secrets Instant Moisture Glow and it's a lifesaver! I like to let this hydrate for a few minutes and set itself as I don't use primers since I tend to be more dry. I also ended up getting their classic Touche Eclat which I love and highly recommend for the natural and radiant finish with nice coverage.

All Hours Foundation Stick

I love the creamy buildable formula, and leaves a beautiful natural velvet-matte finish that’s perfect for auditions. It leaves your skin covered, luminous but without shine. And bonus, if you’re rosy like me, this works great because the cool tones have a beautiful amount of pink undertones. I chose Cool Ivory. love that it’s slim to keep in your bag and is perfect for touch up, and it looks pretty on your vanity.

All Hours Concealer

Love the hydrating and creamy full-coverage formula. This really brightens my under eye and has a 16-hour wear. More of a velvet matte, which again, works for me for auditions. It’s super slim and love the bright gold packaging, it makes it easy to spot in your makeup bag. I use Cool Porcelain.

Dessin Du Regard Waterproof Eyeliner

I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and tried the royal blue eye pencil. It's beautiful, super pigmented, velvety and long-wearing. I personally don't use pencils that often, so I pick up product with an angle brush to apply. I've never been good at pencils on my self or on clients, so this is my little trick. I gotta keep it real!

Touche Eclat shimmer Stick Highlighter

Whichever color you chose, you can't go wrong. I got a very sheer light pink and LOVE that it's creamy, in a stick and has a nice cream-to-powder finish that isn't dry. It's hard to explain, but it doesn't look "marked" as a highlighter on the skin, it blends in so effortlessly and doesn't move your other makeup around which I like. You don't feel it on the skin and doesn't feel wet. It just gives you a gorgeous glow. I take it down my cheekbones, down the center of my nose, leave a little space and then hit the tip of my nose and upper lip for a brightened and awake look. I just love this stick!

Top Secrets BB Creme Skintone Perfector

Bonus — it has SPF 25! I love this product — it’s a BB cream, SPF and acts like a tinted moisturizer/foundation all in one. I have been liking this for running around and feel confident with the coverage and sun protection it gives me. It makes the skin SUPER RADIANT and with a gorgeous hydrated glow. If you’re going to use this for self-tapes, I would suggest setting this with a luminous powder to take away the wet look. It will look a little too shiny on-camera in my opinion.
