Sephora Spring Savings Event - Makeup Must Have's
Yay! There are only a few days left of the Sephora Spring Savings Event! Here are a few things you need to take advantage of with your discount for the Sephora Spring Savings Event. These things I alternate regularly within my beauty regimen for everyday use and for auditions. Use the code OMGSPRING to take advantage!
YSL Instant Moisture Glow Top Secrets – Moisturizer and Primer
This product is definitely one of my “treat” products when I have a special occasion. This makes my parched and sensitive skin glow. It absorbs quickly and gives your skin a beautiful luminous finish under any foundation.
Georgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation
I love this lightweight and longwearing foundation that mimics healthy skin. I get a radiant finish and looks like you’re wearing a filter in person. I do not set this, since I’m dry and let the finish glow on it’s own. If I do use this for an audition (something more upscale and sophisticated) I use this and will set it with a light luminous powder. I discovered this gorgeous foundation and committed to investing in it after I worked with celebrity and tv mua Marilyn Makeup who introduced me to it on the set of Alexa and Katie. She is phenomenal!
It Comsetics Illuminating CC Cream
I love IT Cosmetics! I’m dying to work with them. So if anyone wants to put in a good word… I’ve been using them for years and love the luminous, buildable coverage I get from their products. I love this CC cream in particular with it’s spf 50 feature and it’s pearl-like finish. I tend not to use this for auditions, since it can be a little reflective, so if you do, deifntely set it with a light powder so you don’t kill the finish and mattify where you need. If you want something not so dewy, I would use their regular Bye Bye Foundation in the gray tube. That’s what the artist used on me on Shameless and felt natural and beautiful. Plus, it also has the SPF 50.
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Vanish Color Corrector
Honestly, I don’t know how she did it, but this is the only concealer I ever need. While I’m a sucker for beautiful and slim packaging, this product delivers. My undereye is corrected, covered and most importantly HYDRATED! Medium to full correcting coverage. This is a bit of a splurge, but worth every penny.
This is a classic for a reason. I have been using them for years (you can see on my blog I’m a huge fan!) and take this powder with me everywhere I go. It’s a great powder to set and touch up with, and will never cake up on you.
Charlotte Tillbury Pillowtalk Eye Shadow Palette – Pillowtalk
Okay. I’m the most boring eye shadow wearer. I like my ivory and taupe for my auditions and am used to wearing that on the daily, I like to keep it natural. However. My sister got me hooked on CT. She got me the Pillow Talk matte palette, and it’s the most perfect everyday palette. I love that the shades have a slight pink and mauve tone, and the rose gold compliments every eye shade. I also like the Champagne Pops Pillow Talk for a night out. The pigment is beautiful, but since it is a flaky shimmer finish, definitely use a primer/base on your eye prior to application.
Charlotte Tillbury Pillowtalk Eye liner
This is the most beautiful, mauve/eggplant eyeliner that compliements every eye color. It’s not irritating, wears long, and love how it makes my brown eyes look honey colored. 10/10 any day.
This is so gorgeous. IT’s a creamy, long wearing formula that gives you amazing length and volume and is jet black to make your eyes really pop.
Charlotte Tillbury Walk of No Shame
This is the perfect blush red. I don’t know how to describe it. It’s like, an intense lip bitten soft red with a tint of mauve undertone to make it muted. It has a velvety, cushiony powderlike finish that wears all day. I usually pair it with the matching lip pencil. I wear this daily and looks beautiful on camera for auditions.
I hope you enjoy these! I’d love to hear about what other things you’d like to learn about. I hope all of you have a beautiful, inspiring and productive week.
xx,
